🌐 Advantages

America has announced it's new President. American elections always begin and end with even numbers. America was setup to prevent evil tyrants from having absolute authority. So terms are limited to 4 years with the possibility of reelection. It so did not work because now Corporations and their CEOs together with intelligence agencies have absolute power. 

I spoke against the use of decades and centuries and it's negative impact on the brain. It is the definition of westernization. I do want to say something positive. The American system at least has a familiar pattern built in. India was setup for something potentially more efficient. Presidents have 5 year terms instead of 4. That's half a decade! It could have been at least logical. But one quick glance will show you the system is irregular. No logical pattern exists.

Let's rethink the 4 year term. It's gone on for over 200 years now. Honestly it's a burden on the public. The voting system has always been a fraud but going through that process every four years, all that anxiety and wasted time, money, energy on campaigns is illogical. The duration is too short. 

The biggest flaw in almost every presidency is that short duration allows presidents to cause huge amounts of damage before leaving office and simply blame everything on the following president. This happened with Trump after sanctioning several nations, weaponizing the dollar and passing the buck onto Biden. The economic turmoil and inflation that followed as a result of nations ditching the dollar was easily blamed on Covid. I wasn't fooled and neither was the BRICS organization that emerged stronger as a result.

Every other office has terms that are too long but the president's term is too short. It's so backwards. This system is touted as freedom and democracy but all I see is corruption and neuroticism. The seven year cycle is better suited. It would greatly cut down on voting. In a 56 year time frame there are 14 elections in the 4 year cycle and only 8 in a 7 year cycle.

Another flaw in the 4 year cycle is global conflict and arms dealing. I don't put the blame entirely on the West but on Time Management since that is essentially what we are dealing with. Israel and Russia are both global arms dealers and the two major suppliers of the Indian military. These two countries routinely center military operations around America's elections. That's waaaay too much instability happening here. We're all connected and should reconsider this broken system.

I must stress that all problems fall into one of four categories

1. Communication
2. Time management
3. Knowledge management
4. Task management

We are absolutely discussing Time Management. GPC has even thought of American politics. Let me end with a few questions. The law of Thermodynamics states that given enough time everything tends to chaos. If this is true then our systems for managing that time is our only line of defense. It's easy to point the finger at people. I could point the finger at America or China or the Vatican or Elon Musk. But all I see now is systems. I don't see nations or faces or identities, only systems. 

Could the real root of the problem be the Gregorian Calendar? 

The 4 year term cycle is a time management system. 

Could that be the actual source of global political and economic instability?
