The Indus Valley Civilization
Studying the Indus Valley Civilization today. The Indus Valley Civilization was recently discovered to be a Sanskrit speaking people by Yajnadevam with a very advanced civilization. Probably the most advanced one discovered. I noticed interesting parallels between GPC timeblocking and their measurements. Time blocking is simple. I take our 16 hour day and break it down into blocks of time that are 15 minutes each. One hour has 4 blocks, 4 hours has 16 blocks and 16 hours has 64 blocks.
In the Indus valley Civilization there are 7 cubical weights. The smallest weight has a unit of 1 and weighs .85g. The largest weight has a unit of 64 and weighs 54.4g.

As you can see they are a simple Geometric Sequence. It just amazes me that there does exist a relationship between measures of time and weight. The entire civilization utilized bricks of 7x28cm. The fall of the civilization was characterized by an abandoning of uniform measures. It is amazing that they started off so perfect. Great culture and language and measures. All the proper systems in place and agreed upon for success. Perfect engineering. No evidence of religious or political institutions yet it seems to have been the closest thing in history to heaven on earth. How could it have been possible?
